Malbec

Wine of Languedoc

Malbec. This wine is made from the Malbec grape, not very widespread in the Languedoc. The grapes were harvested in two very different vineyards: the first, located in the area of Languedoc appellation, is located on very hot and rolled pebbles land; the other on fresh, deep soil in western Aude. The vines are 30 years old and their performance is low.

Manual harvest. The grapes are vinified in stainless tanks at controlled temperature. Traditional maceration lasts 15 days. 10% of the volume is aged in new barrels to bring some complexity to the wine.
